In Transition: Your Fall Sweater Checklist
That crisp feeling in the air, those PSL’s taking over your Instagram feed—it’s officially fall! Which means it’s officially time to step away from the cut-offs and get comfy in cozy layers. Since that end-of-summer-to-fall switch up can be tricky, we’ve narrowed down our sweater-musts to make the transition effortless, and of course, stylish.

1. Relaxed Fits
Pick a knit with a slightly slouchy shape and an intricate pattern for that chic, undone look. The perfect piece to pair with skinny sweats for lounging and a leather mini and tights for going out.

2. Tons Of Texture
Cable knits, Fair Isle, popcorn stitching—textured sweaters are an easy way to add surface interest to any outfit. Just pair a chunky knit with slim leggings and knee-high boots, or boyfriend jeans and heeled booties for that casually-luxe look.

3. Swackets
The sweater-as-jacket move is our favorite, mostly because we want to avoid heavy coats for as long as possible. Look for heavier cardigans in a neutral tone, and leave them open over your outfit or wrapped up with a belt on blustery days.
