Pose Like An Angel: 5 Easy Tips
Never take a bad selfie (or ussie) again.
1. Don’t stand up straight

It’s all about throwing the camera a subtle curve. Think, a slight arch of the back, a gentle jut of the hips, an Angelina Jolie leg lean, or a well-angled elbow.
2. Talk to the hand

It’s a full-body shot and you’ve got the smile right, your head tilted to your most flattering angle, a killer outfit–and limp hands. Don’t know what to do with your digits? Just do something! Splay your fingers run them through your hair, rest your cheek on your palm, point to someone, pull something, or simply arch your wrist. Try your, ahem, hand at this tip, and you’ll see the difference.
3. Make a face

A playful pucker, a conspiratorial wink, a Cheshire grin, or a knowing stare take your snap into supermodel territory.
4. Remember, your hair’s in the picture too

Let a few tendrils dangle, or let the camera “catch you” tucking a few errant strands away. (See Tip #2 for more ideas.)
5. Don’t look down

Look up, look off to the distance, look the camera in the eye, you can even close your eyes, but whatever you do, don’t look down (unless whatever’s on the floor is the main attraction of the shot). Your eyes communicate the mood of the picture and invite the viewer to share the feeling. If you’re looking down at something the viewer can’t see, they can’t share the moment with you–and isn’t that the point of sharing your photo in the first place?
