We took up-and-coming alt-pop star and style rebel Charli XCX out shopping at Victoria’s Secret Lexington Avenue last week. How would you describe your personal style in 5 words or less?
Nightwear as daywear!
We read that you love ‘90s style. Why are you so drawn to the looks from that decade and who are your style icons?
I just think fashion was most fun at that time. I like how a lot of the looks throughout the ‘90s verged on looking so wrong that they were just so right! Also, I know this is such a cheesy thing to say but I think fashion should be fun and to me that’s what the ‘90s is. My style icons from the ‘90s are definitely Rose McGowan and Mariah Carey.
